Last weekend I had the chance to meet and photograph a newborn boy, a baby girl, two high school seniors, and a first time mama-to-be. The experience was provided by Michele at Pinkle Toes Photography, and over the course of the three days I did my best to soak up as much insight and inspiration as possible. I had an amazing time and below you’ll see a sampling of photographs from the adventure.
Recently I photographed this little one enjoying some birthday cake – he was a bit timid at first, but eventually he got into it and was happy as a clam. I had a storyboard of the series printed on a ready-to-hang beveled mount that seals the photo to the wood. I was really impressed with the quality of the mount and will definitely use these as an option for storyboards in the future.
Yes, this little guy’s initials are actually ABC – how cute is that?!?? It gets even cuter…check out those eyes! They remind me of Puss-in-Boot’s eyes because anyone who sees them surely is powerless to resist- I know I was! That, along with a grandma who was able to expertly soothe him as needed, and a few sweet pups, and I was a happy girl this morning. Also, I loved that his parents wanted to incorporate that white blanket you see, which was knitted by his paternal great grandmother back when his father was a child. It was tucked away for years until it surfaced at the shower for this little guy – so sweet! It was a pleasure, Mr. ABC, an absolute pleasure.
